What is Spectrum?
Saints Proclaiming Everywhere Christ The Redeemer Unto Mankind, is a small group ministry to the college/career age at Covenant of Grace, PCA. Our purpose is to be imitators of Christ, engaged in intimate/authentic relationships, showing compassion to those around us. We meet together on a regular basis (1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM) for a Bible study in our homes, and also at various other times just for fun (i.e. parties, movies, games, etc).
Our studies typically consist of a chapter discussion facilitated by a group leader to bring out key elements of the chapter and how to biblically apply those lessons learned to our lives. This is a time of sharing our thoughts and life experiences with one another to grow in our understanding of what it means to be a Christian in a fallen world. We also share our prayer requests and spend time lifting one another up to the Lord. We enjoy the fellowship, bible study & prayer with one another while growing in our relationships and building new ones.
We hope to become more and more a part of the community at Covenant of Grace as we disciple and serve the Body of Christ together. If you are a recent High School graduate, Twenty-Something or even Thirty-Something, we desire to build a relationship with you. If it wouldn't require a plane ticket, I'd check it out (despite the wide age range...you know how I feel about those 18 year olds:) Sounds like a very cool group.
