Relentless

I learned last night from my wife that the definition of the word WIFE is RELENTLESS. So after 21 straight days of relentless query of when I was going to get a haircut; today I get a haircut! I still hold onto a sliver of hope that my barber may be closed when I get there. It’s not so much that I don’t want to get haircut, but that I’ve been asked for the last 21 days if I was going to get one. It’s the principle of the thing, ya know? Let’s all wish together that we can make it 22!

Goodness Jeff, you definitely do need a haircut. Go get one. At least Amy'll be happy!

Ha! Let me give you a little secret here. This whole beard and hair cut thing is an experience of endurance. :) What you do is next time you get a haircut.. wait 25 days.. after that, wait 30 days.. pretty soon you will succeed in looking like the bum on the street corner and she won't say anything because you are going to clean your self up after 35 days! :) Usually, i find after two months i am pretty sick of how I look too.

Jeff & Amy let me give you both some advice. Jeff, even though you might not think so a wife KNOWS when you need a hair cut and she tells you so not b/c you wants to be a nag, but because she wants her husband looking fine!! Just like you love that she showers everyday, provides food for you and gives you a smile when you get home, a simple hair cut will be a way of saying thank you for all that she does! :)
And Amy if I have learned anything from my two years of marriage with a man who can go out and wear the same outfit two days in a row with the same group of people and not even flinch at the thought of what a fashion and social fopa that is a hair cut is just a minor battle in the war of marriage. Remember you have to pick your battles and be thankful, that he is a man who is not obsessed with his appearance. Don't crush his spirit and learn to encourage the grooming process in a variety of ways. And like John said, soon they will even get discussed with their own appearance and perhaps they will start to take ownership of what they look like.

Have FUN!! :)
