Bleeding Black and Orange since 1977

Could this be 1966 revisited?
Comparisons are being drawn between the Orioles World Championship team of 1966 and the 2004 team. I wouldn’t go as far to say the O’s are winning the World Series this year, but that’s why they play the games, to see “What if”.

Opening Night Winner!

Thanks to clutch hitting by all our new impact players, decent pitching and poor defense by the BoSox, the O’s came out on top 7 – 2!

Setting the tone for what hopes to be a successful 2004 campaign, Javy Lopez hit a homerun in his Orioles debut on the first pitch he saw in black and orange. Being a catcher myself, I am excited to have an impact player behind the plate this year. We haven’t had one since Mickey Tettleton was our backstop, and he didn’t have the star power that Lopez does.
